Le Turbo 16K gagne 287 points Elo, passe de 15 % \u00e0 48 % des points contre les m\u00eames adversaires et bat sa version d'origine 9 \u00e0 1.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Le Turbo 16K, pour m\u00e9moire<\/h2>\n<p>Le <strong>SciSys Turbo 16K<\/strong> sort en <strong>1985<\/strong>. C'est mon premier jeu d'\u00e9checs \u00e9lectronique, achet\u00e9 fin 1985, et celui contre lequel j'ai jou\u00e9 le plus : 552 parties r\u00e9pertori\u00e9es (voir <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chess.lumn.eu\/wordpress\/2020\/12\/14\/scisys-turbo-16k\/\">l'article de 2020<\/a>). Son programme est sign\u00e9 <strong>Julio Kaplan et Craig Barnes<\/strong> (Heuristic Software). Tout tient dans un seul circuit : un microcontr\u00f4leur <strong>Hitachi HD6301Y0 \u00e0 12 MHz<\/strong>, sans quartz (un simple oscillateur LC), avec 16 Ko de ROM et 256 octets de RAM. Deux machines que le Turbo d'origine ne battait presque jamais deviennent des adversaires \u00e0 sa mesure.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saitek Corona II, Mephisto Modena, Turbo King II, Forte A, MM IV<\/strong> : de 5-10 % \u00e0 40-45 %. Contre les machines cot\u00e9es autour de 1800-1850, le Turbo acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 tient d\u00e9sormais la partie.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fidelity Par Excellence<\/strong> : la vitesse n'y change rien, 2,5 sur 10 dans les deux cas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mephisto MM V<\/strong> : c'est le seul adversaire contre lequel la version acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e fait moins bien (un demi-point au lieu d'un point). Mais il part de beaucoup plus bas. M\u00eame acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 dix fois, il reste derri\u00e8re le Par Excellence et le Forte A d'origine, et n'y a marqu\u00e9 que 2,5 et 4 points sur 10.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Trois parties spectaculaires<\/h2>\n<p>Les trois parties ci-dessous sont des victoires du Turbo 16K \u00e0 125 MHz, toutes conclues par un mat. Chaque coup a \u00e9t\u00e9 v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 avec Stockfish 16, puis les positions cl\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9es plus longuement (profondeur 22), pour distinguer les vraies combinaisons des simples cadeaux de l'adversaire. Les \u00e9valuations sont donn\u00e9es en pions, du point de vue des blancs.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"game-title\">1. Le Turbo contre lui-m\u00eame : la dame sans retraite<\/h3>\n<p class=\"game-sub\">Saitek Turbo 16K (blancs) \u2014 Saitek Turbo 16K 125 MHz (noirs) &middot; Catalane ouverte (par transposition) &middot; 0\u20131 en 32 coups<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame programme, m\u00eame livre, m\u00eame \u00e9valuation : la seule diff\u00e9rence entre les deux joueurs est la vitesse.
